◆表現
【I suppose... / I guess...】
どちらも、「たぶん～だろうと思う」といった意味です。I suppose は自分なりの根拠に基づいた推測を述べたり I think を柔らかく言う時に使います。I guess は、当てずっぽうに近い推測を述べるのに、また、いやいや同意したり、時として投げやりな気持ちで同意する時に使います。

【The fact is that...】
「実は・実際のところは」といった意味になります。The を省略して Fact is that としたり、that も省略することがあります。
